Levofloxacin – Effective Respiratory Treatment

Composition Per 100 GM

Levofloxacin hydrochloride
20 gm

    For the treatment of bacterial infections in animals caused by levofloxacin-sensitive Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, including Mycoplasma spp.
    Poultry:
  • Colibacillosis (Escherichia coli).
  • Salmonellosis.
  • Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum and secondary bacterial infections.
  • Fowl cholera (Pasteurella multocida).
    • Livestock (cattle, sheep, goats):
  • Respiratory infections (bronchopneumonia, pasteurellosis).
  • Enteric infections (diarrhea caused by E. coli or Salmonella).
  • Septicemia and wound infections.
    • Pets:
  • Respiratory tract infections.
  • Urinary tract infections (UTIs).
  • Skin and soft tissue infections.
  • Ear infections (otitis externa/media).

For oral administration
  • Poultry: 1 gm per 2 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.
  • Chicks (less than 21 days): 1 gm per 4 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.
  • Foals, Calves, Goats and Sheep: 1 gm per each 60 kg of body weight for 3-5 days.
  • Horses, Camels, Buffalos and Adult Cattle: 1 gm per each 80 kg of body weight for 3-5 days.

  • Store below 25°C (77°F), avoid exposure to extreme temperatures.
  • Keep in a dry environment, protectd from direct sunlight.
  • Keep the container tightly closed after each use to avoid exposure to air.
  • Store in a cool, well-ventilated place, away from children, pets and incompatible materials.
